10 Steps to Buying a Home Share


1.    Contact one of our Trusted Lenders for a pre-approval to understand what price range your search will be concentrated in and where your payment will fit comfortably into your budget.    

2.    Choose and make a list of your preferred homes from this site, Realtor.com, Zillow.com or any other resource. 

3.    Preview these homes with Kim and Emily and narrow down your favorites to two or three great possibilities. 

4.    Have Kim and Emily write your offer and negotiate all terms until all parties come to a mutual agreement. 

5.    Provide all required paperwork to Lender to ensure a timely closing.   

6.    Hire a qualified inspector to report on a property’s overall condition.  A termite inspection is also highly recommended. 

7.    Review inspection report from home inspector and decide which (if any) repairs you would like Kim and Emily to negotiate on your behalf. 

8.    Make arrangements to have all utilities transferred into your name at your new address. 

9.    Close on your home at agreed upon attorney’s office. 

10.  Move in and enjoy the pride of homeownership!
